Rochester & Rochester Hills

Rochester Hills is located about 30 miles north of Detroit, Michigan’s largest city. A low unemployment rate, low crime rate and high resident satisfaction lead Time’s Money Magazine to name Rochester Hills in the top ten places to live in the United States. This beautiful city not only provides many recreational facilities such as swimming, golf, tennis and cycling at municipal parks, but is also home to an award-winning school district.

Attractions include Meadow Brook Hall, Yates Cider Mill and historic Stoney Creek Village. A multitude of shopping experiences await at The Village of Rochester Hills outdoor shopping and dining mall. Head across the street to Oakland University and glide along over 60 ziplines at TreeRunner Adventure Park.

Rochester School District is one of the best districts in the state of Michigan. With 13 elementary schools, four middle schools, three high schools, one alternative high school, and a child care center, more than 15,000 students residing in the Greater Rochester area have the advantage of receiving a world-class education from Michigan’s premier school district.

Rochester’s high-quality curriculum, delivered by a skilled, caring staff enables all students to learn at the highest levels. Rochester students consistently perform above the state and national averages on college entrance exams. Ninety-six percent of our students graduate, and of those, 95 percent attend post-secondary schools.
