Grand Blanc

Grand Blanc is home to 35,700 people who reside in southeast Genesee County, just a few miles south of Flint, Michigan. The township encompasses 36 square miles which surround the City of Grand Blanc.

Grand Blanc, which literally means “great white,” was originally settled by Chippewa Indians. Grand Blanc residents enjoy such benefits as recreation activities, senior citizen services, McFarlen Public Library and Heritage Museum. Also available are medical centers, restaurants, and shopping. Grand Blanc is the home of the world headquarters for General Motors Service Parts Operations and the award-winning Genesys Regional Medical Center.

Grand Blanc Community Schools is an award-winning school district within the city of Grand Blanc.
