Clinton Township

Located in the heart of Macomb County in Northern Metropolitan Detroit, Clinton Township’s 100,000 residents make it the most populous township in the state of Michigan.

Clinton Township is a hub of regional commercial activity. It features a wealth of tight-knit residential neighborhoods with all the amenities that families expect, including a robust infrastructure, a diverse workforce, major healthcare systems, and a community college. All of these resources combined will make your move a great success.

Clinton Township is home to The Mall at Partridge Creek, an open-air shopping mall with 90 stores in a pet-friendly environment. Clinton Township does not have a traditional downtown, and in many ways, The Mall at Partridge Creek fills the role as Clinton Township’s downtown.

Thanks to the popularity of the Clinton River, and an extensive park system, the Township continues to draw new residents. The three major branches of the river join inside township borders offering outdoor enthusiasts miles of waterway to kayak, canoe, and fish. Native plant species and outdoor activities can be enjoyed at the township’s twelve park locations.

The 15,000 square-foot Senior Adult Life Center, which offers arts and crafts, exercise and fitness, and travel programs, is also located at the Civic Center. Right next door is the main branch of the Clinton-Macomb Public Library, which boasts three convenient locations, and is one of the largest libraries in Macomb County. The Civic Center is also home to numerous soccer and baseball fields, as well as the new state-of-the-art pickleball courts.

Clinton Township is home to five school districts: Chippewa Valley Schools, Clintondale Community Schools, L’Anse Creuse Public Schools, Fraser Public Schools and Mount Clemens Community Schools.
